'The Bartender pro grips' were developed during the 2018 DH racing season, a collaboration with the fussiest rider on earth, Greg Minnaar!
Dont know much about Greg? Well…he has the most individual World Cup wins EVER, with 23 victories to his name! He has won 4 overall World Championships, which is the second most, among all currently active racers. Greg is the ‘GOAT’.
There isn't much he doesn't know about throwing bikes down hills. He knows what's good and what it takes to win. Burgtec knew what they were getting themselves into doing a collaboration with Greg, but they also knew an amazing grip would come out of it. The Bartender Pro grip was born
Now these grips are ridden by the likes of Nina Hoffman, Danny Hart and Angel Suarez. So you’re in good company if you adorn the Burgtec grips on your bars.
Why Bartender Pro?
The construction of the grip adds unrivalled vibration damping with its 25A rubber compound which on the 'Shore Hardness Chart' is slightly harder than a rubber band and way softer than a pink eraser. This adds control to the cockpit whilst still being comfortable.
The 31.5mm diameter gives an ergonomically pleasing natural grip feel even on the gnarliest of downhill tracks, bike parks and local trails.
One single 7075 aluminium lock on means no catching your hands on that outboard clamp. One lock on clamp, in the inboard position keeps the grip in place perfectly and keeps us 'bar end huggers' comfortable
