Details

The Solum has long been a favourite among riders looking for a dialled 26” dirt-jump and pump-track weapon. The Nukeproof Solum blends the simplicity of a single-speed setup with the refined details riders demand.

Constructed from custom hydroformed 6061 triple-butted tubing, the Solum delivers a lightweight yet incredibly strong chassis. Stiffness is engineered precisely where it’s needed to maximise power transfer when pumping. A fully forged yoke optimises strength-to-weight and provides generous chainring and tyre clearance (up to 2.3”). Nukeproof recommends using 30t–13t gearing, but there is room to run up to a 32t chainring for use at BMX tracks where speed is the key. Wave-shaped seat stays and a reinforced brace add multi-directional strength for riders who love to throw tricks. Despite being built to take the hits, the frame still comes in at a respectable 2.26 kg / 4.76 lb (regular).

Available in three sizes that are all optimised around a 100mm travel fork: Regular, Long and Extra Long; the Solum is available in a size to fit all heights and riding styles. Dialled rear dropouts allow you to fine-tune chain tension and adjust the wheelbase: slammed for street and pump-track riding, or extended for trail stability.

Advanced Frame construction and sizing

At the heart of the Solum is a custom hydroformed 6061 T6 triple butted aluminium frame engineered to maximise strength while keeping weight low. The advanced tubing and construction deliver stiffness where it matters for efficient power transfer and impact resistance, making it tough enough for aggressive riding. Offered in multiple sizes, the Solum’s geometry and proportions are carefully tuned to rider height and intended use, whether that is tight technical pump track sessions or big flowing dirt jump lines.

Design features

The Solum includes rider focused details that set it apart in dirt jump and pump track use. A one piece chainstay yoke and a reinforced seatstay bridge add strength where it matters, while integrated chain tugs with horizontal dropouts allow precise chain tension adjustment. Purpose built as a single speed frame, every element from geometry to dropout layout is optimised for control, durability and fun on the trail.
