The EVO V6Ti represents the pinnacle of braking performance, combining stunning aesthetics, unmatched heat management, and uncompromising power. Designed for riders pushing the limits of downhill, enduro, and e-bike riding, this brake system sets a new benchmark for what’s possible.
The foundation of the EVO V6Ti is a single-piece CNC-machined caliper, designed to achieve the ultimate stiffness-to-weight ratio while maximizing surface area for superior heat dissipation.
Inside the body are titanium pistons, chosen for their exceptional performance in the harshest conditions. Each piston is Ti-Nitride coated to reduce friction and increase wear resistance, while a cross-drilled design enhances cooling when it matters most.
The caliper uses a radial mount system, eliminating post-mount constraints and creating space for larger pistons and pads. The V6Ti delivers greater power, consistency, and heat management, while a larger caliper body enhances stiffness and thermal efficiency. The result is consistent, confidence-inspiring braking, even under prolonged and extreme conditions.
Paired with the new T-slot vented rotor, which aids in heat management, the EVO V6Ti delivers exceptional performance. Cooling fins between the braking surfaces significantly reduce disc temperatures during use, while the T-slot floating design allows the outer disc to fully float, preventing distortion under load. For added practicality, the outer disc is user-replaceable, eliminating the need to replace the entire rotor when worn.
This is complemented by the EVO Master Cylinder, Hope’s latest and most refined master cylinder to date. Riders can choose between standard or power levers to suit their preferred feel (the Control lever is not recommended for the EVO V6Ti).
The EVO V6Ti is a statement of engineering excellence and a benchmark for performance.
Mono Edition: Celebrating 20 Years
To commemorate 20 years since the original Mono 6Ti brake, Hope is launching a limited Mono Edition of the EVO V6Ti. The first 1,000 brake sets will feature a distinctive black and gold colourway inspired by the original, along with exclusive etched detailing and a unique serial number—making each set a true collector’s item and a fitting tribute to a legendary design.
V6Ti Features:
-
Single piece CNC machined caliper
-
Ultimate stiffness to weight ratio
-
Maximum surface area to manage heat
-
Titanium pistons, the best material for consistent performance in the most extreme conditions 2x Ø16 and 4x Ø14
-
Ti-Nitride coated for low friction and increased wear resistance
-
Piston cross drilled to keep things cool when things get really tough
-
Radial mount removes the dimensional restrictions associated with the post mount standard :
- More space, more piston surface area, more power!
- Larger pad – more consistency - 30% larger
- Larger caliper – increased stiffness, better heat management
-
Must be used with one of the dedicated brake mounts
-
Only compatible on Postmount forks and frames (PM180-PM200-PM203) with Ø200 or Ø220 discs
-
Only compatible with 2.3mm and 3.3mm (vented) discs
T-Slot Rotor Features
- Highest performing disc, for the harshest operating conditions
- Outer is constructed from three pieces to create a gap between the external braking surfaces
- The rotor uses internal fins to allow the air to flow between the two friction parts, the induced air flow significantly reduces heat buildup in the rotor.
- Consistent braking performance in wet conditions thanks to its capability to clear the water layer through its fins
- Dyno tests show up to 15% less heat buildup compared to our floating rotors
- Vented outer is joined to aluminium centre allowing 1 degree of freedom in a true floating design
- Available in: Ø200, Ø203 and Ø220mm sizes in a 6 Bolt fitment
- 3.3mm disc thickness, minimum thickness 2.9mm
- Centres available in Black
